Reception with destemming and crushing immediately, transporting grapes to the fermentation vats in mass piping with heat exchanger. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks of 18 tons capacity, with tanning at around 24\u00baC. Macerations more intense and prolonged, with higher fermentation temperatures and partial malolactic fermentation in wood. Part of the lot is for a period of 12 months in predominantly French oak wood, with a small percentage of American wood.<\/p>\n<p>Grape Varieties:<br \/>\nTinta Roriz,Touriga Franca,Touriga Nacional<\/p>\n<p>Tasting Notes:<br \/>\nIntense aroma of red and black fruits of the forest, spicy notes and licorice highlight the maturation of the main varieties planted at higher and cooler areas of the Douro, as Tinta Roriz, more aromatic and light, Touriga Franca shows plenty of fruit and vegetables discrete notes and the elegance of Touriga Nacional. The brief stage in French barriques the complex fruit aroma and excellent example of this stage of Douro wines with modern and international profile but very typical. The palate is sweet and engaging, with noble tannins soft, long, warm finish.<\/p>\n<p>Store and Serve Advices:<br \/>\nStorage Lying down at a temperature of 15\u00b0C.
